You enter a peaceful natural sanctuary where time runs more slowly, where you can enjoy a whole new lifestyle – for a week, a weekend, for weeks on end.
The tranquil community of houses is threaded round and between the margins of eight lakes, and sits in the midst of acres and acres of woods and meadows. Restful, relaxing, and peaceful, with the quiet broken only by the sound of birdsong. A wildlife park where rare birds, butterflies and insects breed by hedgerows and in open fields, close by two rivers where beavers build their dams, and fish linger in the shadows and deep pools.
Back at home, each Lower Mill house sits in its own grassed garden. Many have jetties running down to the lakes. They’re all within easy, easy reach of the family spa (with all its easing treatments for mind and body), the estate’s own tennis club, and the well-stocked bakery and shop, where you can unwind with a quiet coffee.
