The Bushcraft Experience for August 2013
After the success of Bushcraft 2011 and Bushcraft 2012, Lower Mill Estate would like to offer
you the chance to register your interest in our Bushcraft Experience for August 2013.

Bushcraft offer children a chance to become fully immersed in their surroundings, and develop a fantastic understanding
of the natural landscape. The course is aimed at children aged 7-15 and they will be involved in a wide array of activities,
including foraging, shelter building, wilderness cookery and orienteering. They will be based on the grass area to the South
of Freeth Mere (Natural England has agreed to support the project) and the intention is that they will hardly be seen. They
operate a 'leave no footprint policy' so there are no concerns for the wildlife or habitat of the estate.

This is the perfect opportunity for children to experience something fresh and exciting, make new friends and keep their
brains ticking over during the summer holidays. The courses are three days and start on Monday where the children join the
camp and spend three days and two nights learning Bushcraft skills. On the final night, parents are invited to join the
camp too and learn from their children.
Children and parents must be either resident at Lower Mill Estate or staying at Lower Mill Estate to take part.
